Old ways page are center layout with table with attribute align=center. But in the case CSS align attribute refers to text align. Here some code snapshot to acheive centered page layout in css.

As we know CSS are useful in changing the sytle the web page without touching the html page. This save most of the development time and money. And also it seperate work of the website developer and web application developer. Same way ASP.Net master page is useful feature for web application developer. Master page allow to create consistent layout of the webpage of the website. You can create individual content page which you want to display and that page merge with master page. You can create any number of master page, for example one master page for guest user and another master page for members. Position and style of the layout of master page can be control by CSS file. Based on my experince website with master page is very easy to maintain the code and coding is very clean and focused.
